On the basis of "anything counts if it is important to the owner or the beholder" I plan on posting a few pieces of Horslips memoribila now and again. Attached this time is a new Tain T-Shirt (size XL)which I got at Bonfeld alongside a Tain T-shirt (size S)which I got at a time when it used to fit me. Notice the change of direction of the Hand.
I also have some "Horslips Funky Fun Club" stuff (unfortunatly membership card last along the way). Is this stuff known or would I only be posting it unnecessarily?

@coldwinter- thanks for info.

Ok. As quite a few videos of the gig in Bonfeld are already posted I have uploaded some that I have not already found here. "Sword of light" and as requested "Sure the boy was green". Looking at it again I see what you mean with back and forth between Barry and Johnny. Luckily I was standing front left of stage I have been able to have all Band members in view during the song so it makes it easier to watch.
Here are the Links:

@ColdWinter, I´m off now to the Memoribilia section to show some things "newly remastered and dugup from the past"

I´m glad you liked the video. I have another few video clips of the Bonfeld gig. I´ll list them here and you can let me know which I should post.
Mad Pat & Blindman - The King of the Fairies - The second half of the High Reel - Maeve´s Court & Charolais - Daybreak & Drive the cold winter away & Ride to Hell - Sword of Light - Speed the Plough & Sure the boy was green - Dearg Doom.

Also the Introductions to, and the first few bars of: Shakin all over - The Man who built America.

In the future I´ll be (hopefully) posting some Memoribilia stuff (no, I don´t have the fiddle) and writing a few short stories and not too tall tales.

Ok, the eagle has landed.
First up, many thanks for the words of welcome. After having logged in to YouTube about ten times to exasperated comments from Junior like " Dad, you forgot to click on that" and " you shouldn´t have clicked that" to "start again" I have finally got this thing sussed. The Video of Jim speaking german before Mad Pat is in YouTube The link is:
http://youtu.be/ycEqAvJCQds

Translated it reads: ......2009 we came back together. As you have heard it´s been 35 years since we played in Germany and we would like to very much thank the organisers for the invitation. We are very happy to be here.

Before the concert I was chatting with Jim and he ran his text past me. I made just one word change but I was very surprised and impressed that he spoke german so well. During his intro he actually corrects his grammer (wow! - details of german grammer available if anyone is interested)

@StefanF. I remember the traffic backup between Heilbronn and the exit to Bad Rappenau. Unfortunatly for me the backup started before I left Stuttgart and with the exception of about 5 km I had snails pace all the way. I didn´t care. The weather was good, I had plenty of time and I was going to a Horslips concert (also the air conditioning in the car was working!).

Ok that´s about it for the moment. More from me soon.

Hi all, I,m new here and i´m trying to figure out how all this works, so please bear with me. Anyway I was at the Festival in Bonfeld and have (among other things - more of that later) a few video clips including most of Jim´s intro to Mad Pat. When my son explains YouTube to me I will post it. Jim also made a comment in german at the end of the High Reel. He said "Na, endlich" which generally translates as "Hah, finally" or "at last".
