Some of you may know John Rea who used to frequent this board at one time. He went on a years long sojourn with his wife of many years, Lindsay. I was fortunate to meet John and Lindsay when their travels brought them to
Calgary. The next year they hosted my wife and I when we travelled to Ireland and Scotland. Not long after John began having health issues and I received the very sad news today of his passing. He was a lifelong fan of music and a collector of music and their makers and he had many interesting moments meeting some of his musical idols from Horslips to Tom Petty and many in between. He was a charming and funny man and I always will remember the times we spent together and the many email exchanges. Although they became fewer as his health problems worsened they always contained nuggets of information generously shared with a twinkle in his eye. I along with others here who shared in his life will miss him. Condolences to his wife Lindsay and son Tom and his best boyhood friend all of whom were with him when he passed peacefully. You are missed

You know the lads and their penchant for creating drama in their musical works. The pauses are intended and are a caesura, and is in keeping with dramatic tension. Probably Eamons idea-drummers often don't get a chance to be heard on matters regarding music. The boys gave Eamon his Ringo Starr moment.

Stefan i can relate the story here when Ann had to take a load off your fanny and put it on her shoulders walking up that hill in a manner very different from how Kate Bush would do it.

I am having to skip an oil change for the LAMBORGHINI to buy the box set and Stefan your story rings hollow. A project of this size, with so many pieces, I am surprised they thought they could pull it all off so quickly but yes, I still think St. Patrick's Day is the release date.

They agreed. I not only managed to get the house back but he planted the seed of selling into our heads which we did. He thinks he is clever, and he is. Just not as smart as his daughters.

I am betting they go for St. Patrick's day. That puts some chutzpah into the proceedings.

Stefan's a born salesman! When he was visiting me in Calgary I had to slip out for a few hours and when I came back he was showing people through my house and had placed a For Sale Sign on the front lawn. He explained it by saying he didn't think I was coming back.
