Same here. was at the Zoo on tuesday, had a long nostalgic stare at the band stand where i stood as a sixteen year old seeing my heroes for the first time. Great to see the white outfits to rekindle the memory of the excitement of the day, to be honest thats all I can remember, white outfits, how exotic!

RicochetMan, surely you remember the start of the gig....the first note of The High Reel coinsided with Charles jumping up and landing on the stage and a great big pyrotechnic bang and flash. For a second I thought there was a great big electrical disaster !!
The other thing I remember that day was earlier on in the day going across the road from The Hollow to look at the band's Range Rover !! Sad or just a dedicated fan???

I wish I could say I remember that, maybe I got there late!

The Range Rover, some of my Horslips pals lived in Sandymount and once got a lift back from the Stadium, thought they were in heaven!
