should be a great gig...just being pedantic of course being me, but Johnny is still a member of Horslips. I have seen the band playing as Horslips twice recently.

Enjoy the gig , I await your pix. Daragh !

OMG, that's what happens when you copy and paste in a hurry, I didn't write the original blurb. Of course Johnny is still Horslips.

Thanks for pointing that out.

Just checked back on the FB post and the event poster and the text is correct, so someone else must have noticed too... just not me. Doh!

Great to meet you there Daragh. A great night is right.

Here are a few photos and I will have one video to share when I get a chance to post it.

Johnny Fean is back in the Dublin area on 14th December when the Johnny Fean Band play Gibneys in Malahide. That will be Johnny Fean & Stephen Travers with Martin McElroy on drums. I hope to be there.

John

Here is the one video I took last night. Please excuse the couple of expletives at the very end as I knocked over a glass of wine.

This is You Don't Love Me Baby

John, Daragh, thanks.

John, I hope you don't mind me coping the set-list here for your photos. Do you know what the last entry was "red...." something.

Sorry StefanF, I am having my own spell of bad memory now, I can't remember what they finished with. Just back in from Robert Plant and I had Tir na nOg last night so Johnny's gig was 3 gigs ago.

I do know that he sometimes plays Little Red Rooster but don't remember it from Friday.

Daragh, is you memory any better than mine?

John

Thanks for all of this, Daragh and John...I would love to hear Johnny play a blues gig...collectively you bunch are very lucky.

John...Johnny,RP and TNN....wow....good man!

Regarding the 'Red' song... might it have been 'Red House' if not LR Rooster?

I see we have 'Statesboro Blues...' This always freaks me out since I first heard it on the ABB's 'Fillmore East' album about 47 years ago....a long story but my obsession with this venue made me seek out the long abandoned site in NY several months ago...Yup,I am that sad.....😉...

"Wake up mama, turn your lamp down low....."

Horslips may or may not have been represented...😉🎸...

Best to all,John R...

Guessing from what little we can see of the second word it's Red Rooster, but it was not played on the night.
