oh dear....better news in my new Con Post !!

I was one of the pre-order people, placing my order within 48 hours of the launch. When the cancellation was announced the following thank you message was included with it.

'As a thank you to those who have already pre-ordered the set, we will soon be shipping you an additional, exclusive 10 track sampler'

I've not hear anything since!. Any further news of this?

Celtic Note in Dublin sent one to me around the end of August.

Yes I got sent the sampler, another copy of the same one that was given out at the box set launch in Smock Alley with a different sleeve. But the CD inside is the same.

Looking forward to the box set when it comes.

The good people at Celtic Note got in touch and kindly forwarded my sampler. Excellent stuff on it too, including some live material recorded at the legendary performance in Belfast in 1980.

Incidentally in the latest copy of Record Collector (No. 537) there is a very nice advertisement for more Than You Can Chew on Page 2. It gives a release date of 16th December, and is yet another irresistible appetiser for the treat to come...
