This seems to be "out" now. So I'm taking it that my 'hands are untied.'

I got all the detail on this today from a source I shall not reveal. I'm gutted I won't be over to see this. :(

Since we know who you interviewed today the source is not exactly anonymous but I will still be watching on Friday night.

The shows starts Ireland time 9:30 Friday.
With a bit of luck it won't be region restricted and people from far far away (like Scotland) will be able to watch it live. Test the play function at this link first and see if you are blessed.

Shocked and stunned, Ambrose, shocked and stunned. Just watched opening number on the LLS and was confronted with an English mandolin player grabbing his crotch and apparently making "wanker" gestures to the gleeful laughs of a certain blond bass player. THis sort of messing gets ye nowhere lads, ye'll nebver make it on the showband circuit acting the maggot like that....

But seriously, that was a fucking marvellous rendition, even if they did have to stick poor Eamon up at the back.

Oh and it did the heart good to see Barry pogoing along at the end of the song like one of his own aurdience. Well done lads, a fantastic opening to what was a bit of an anticlimactic show. Mind you, only saw 2 hours of it on the RTE player...

Great version, again - really sounds mighty with the orchestra. Loved the finish to it with Gerry banjo, Sharon Shannon, Sharon Corr, Mairead ni Mhaonaigh and the piper fella from Kila.

Joined the Late Late around 10pm last night assuming they'd keep the best till last so I had to watch our heroes on the RTEplayer this morning. Absolutely fantastic it was too.

Doesn't J Fean look so...huh? just playin' my guitar...what's all the fuss about? when he's actually leading some of Ireland's finest musicians playing Ireland's finest tune?

Sounds like I missed a great show have to try and catch it later do believe you can go back to watch past shows have not used RTE player in a bit.
