5 years to the day from when Jim got the wee heart warning he appeared on the Ray D'Arcy radio show.

His language was awful.

Talking about Glenroe theme, Horslips etc.

Ray D'Arcy - 3 June 2015

Scoot to 55 mins or so unless you want to hear all of the shite that D'Arcy comes out with.

Insider,

Thanks for that. Jim mentioned that the series he and Barry did for TG4 called Rotha Mor an tSaoil is going to be shown again on TG4 starting on Friday (tomorrow) night at 10:55.
So that is Friday nights viewing sorted, Old Grey Whistle Test on BBC4 from 9.00 to 10.30 followed by Rotha Mor an tSaoil on TG4 at 10.55.

John

Insider, good to see you back!

I look forward to chasing the link a bit later on.....always good to hear Locky..He and the Drivel boy 'give good radio!'....Five years? Phew.......

Best to all, John R.

ps...I have no idea who Ray D'Arcy is...but do I gather that he is a bit of a dipstick?

This was great.
Couldn't accuse Ray D'Arcy of being a subject matter expert.
...which us good since often the interviewer cant help themsleves and "tell", rather than "listen" to the horslips story.

I didn't know locky wrote a theme for Sunday Sport, anybody able to get a sound track for that?

Funny I came across this
https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=28&v=A2GqlOYfgfw
for the Sunday Game composed by the James Last who died this week. I always thought Last could have brought Nitghttown Boy into his big band set.

I heard Jim filling in for John Creedon. Played a lock of Kinks tunes.
